Dr. Akhtar Sohail Chughtai

Dr. Akhtar Sohail Chughtai is a pioneering pathologist and visionary healthcare leader in Pakistan. A graduate of King Edward Medical College, he began his journey in pathology in 1975 and has since dedicated over four decades to advancing diagnostic medicine, academic leadership, and institutional development. He is the Founder of Chughtai Healthcare, Chughtai Institute of Pathology, Chughtai Foundation, and Chughtai Public Library.

Dr. Mariam Chughtai

Dr. Mariam Chughtai is an education policy expert and Harvard-trained scholar whose work sits at the intersection of leadership, instructional design, and system reform. With a career dedicated to strengthening educational ecosystems across Pakistan and the Global South, she founded the Chughtai Institute of Leadership and Learning (CILL) to build capacity for a rapidly transforming world.

Dr. Yasira Waqar

Dr. Yasira Waqar is an education technology specialist with expertise in curriculum development and teacher training. She has extensive experience in integrating technology across grade levels and leading innovative projects to enhance student learning. Currently, she serves as Dean of the School of Social Sciences and Humanities at the University of Management and Technology (UMT). Her research focuses on the impact of technology on education, particularly its influence on teaching, learning, and instructional design.

Dr. Sabieh Anwar

Dr. Muhammad Sabieh Anwar is a distinguished physicist, educator, and innovator, recently nominated for the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Education) in the Pakistan Civil Awards 2026. A Rhodes Scholar, he earned his PhD from Oxford and completed postdoctoral research at UC Berkeley. At LUMS, he currently is the Professor of Physics and has served as Dean of the Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering, where he founded the physics program and its experimental infrastructure.
